Description
The Trevail Monument is an obelisk located in the churchyard about 26 metres north of the north aisle of the Church of St Ciricius and St Julitta in Luxulyan. It was erected in the early 20th century and is made of granite. The monument has a square plan and a pointed top, standing approximately 1.5 metres high. It is set on a battered plinth that features a moulded cornice and a square base. On the east side of the plinth, there is a segmental-headed recessed inscription panel dedicated to Joseph Trevail, dated 1903.
