Description
The Bryant monument is a headstone located in the churchyard about 2 metres east of the south aisle of the Church of St Ciricius and St Julitta in Luxulyan. It dates from the 18th century and is made of slate. The headstone features a square top with an incised inscription panel that includes a primitive cherub's head with wings at the top center, an hourglass to the left, and a heart to the right. The inscription is a valedictory sextet dedicated to William Bryant, who passed away in 1778.
