Description
The gate-piers and flanking walls, located approximately 35 metres southeast of Trevales House, date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of granite ashlar in diminishing courses, featuring a dressed granite plinth and copings. The gate-piers are monolithic and square in plan, flanked by concave segmental walls and large square terminal piers. The gate-piers have round-headed tops, the copings slope up to an apex, and the terminal piers are capped with squat pyramidal tops.
