7/293 Thomas headstone at approximately - 24 metres south of Church of Saint Sithney GV II

Headstone. Early C19, to Francis Thomas, died 1837 aged 59. Dressed granite monolith with shaped head with incised slate insert to the west side with round head to the middle. Inscribed on the slate is the epitaph: Our plays are as the grass Or like the morning showr If one sharp blast sweep o'er the field It withers in the hour.
