Stable About 10 Metres South East Of Tregascoe Farmhouse

This stable, located about 10 metres southeast of Tregascoe Farmhouse, is likely from the early 19th century but incorporates materials from the 17th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and has a slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends.

The stable is a small single-storey structure, with a smaller single-storey shed attached at the left end. The front features one doorway with a reused 17th-century surround. To the left, there is a small square window with a granite lintel. The doorway is 4-centred arched and has a chamfered design with pyramid stops. To the right, there is a 3-light granite window that is hollow-chamfered, with the stoolings for the mullions still in place. The left end has the attached shed with a doorway at the front, while the right end and rear are blind.

Inside, the roof is entirely of 19th-century construction. This stable does not seem to be a remnant of a larger building, but it does contain reused 17th-century features that may have originally been part of Tregascoe Farmhouse.
