Description
No. 10, which includes the former maltings at the rear, is a town house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the early 19th century and features a stuccoed front with a slate roof that has very deep eaves supported by pairs of wooden brackets. The building has a deep plan, with an early 20th-century shop at the front and the former maltings located at the rear. It stands three storeys tall and has a two-window range. There is a string course and keyblocks above the original hornless sash windows, which have glazing bars. The early 20th-century shop front includes scribed pilasters, consoles, and a moulded cornice above a sloping fascia. To the left of the shop front, there is a door with an overlight, and another doorway is located at the far left. The interior of the shop has been altered in the 20th century, and the upper floors have not been inspected.
