Description
No. 11 Pydar Street is a town house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. The front is made of painted freestone ashlar, and there is a slate roof behind a parapet. The building has a deep plan and stands three storeys high with a two-window range. It features sill strings, a mid-floor string, a moulded cornice at the parapet, and flat arches over the original sash windows, which have glazing bars. The 20th-century double shop front includes pilasters and a high fascia. The interior has been altered in the 20th century, but the upper floors were not inspected; however, the window shutters are still present.
