Description

This monument, located approximately 10 metres north of the Church of Saint Sithney, dates from the early 19th century and was created by Scott of Penzance. It features a granite plinth and a slate base supporting a limestone urn on a pedestal. The monument has a square plinth with a round urn and pedestal. It is stepped, with the lower step made of plain squared granite and the second step consisting of a slate slab with slate sides. The urn is detailed with a moulded pedestal, a moulded bowl, and a moulded lid, all adorned with acanthus decoration.
