MENHENIOT Horse engine house and barn 16m to east of Treweatha Farmhouse

(Formerly listed as Horse engine house and barn 6m to south-east of Treweatha Farmhouse)

Barn and horse engine house now used as calves house. Barn circa 1800 and horse engine house circa 1820s. Rubblestone, slate roof with gable ends. Polygonal slate roof to engine house which is placed to rear of barn and projects beyond north east gable end. North west front of barn with 10 rubblestone steps up to central double plank doors with timber lintel and slate hood. To rear on south east, ground floor with window to left and door to right. Reused timber lintels. First floor with central double plank doors with slate hood. Horse engine house, originally open sided with polygonal roof supported on rubblestone piers. Openings now blocked with concrete blocks and rubblestone pier on south west removed. Double plank doors on south. Central pier removed. King post truss roof to engine house.
