Description

ST BURYAN BURNEWHALL SW 42 SW 8/92 Barn at approximately 20 metres south east - of Burnewhall Old Farmhouse GV II Small barn, possibly originally a store, perhaps an apple store. C17, partly rebuilt in the C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Corrugated asbestos roof with gable ends. Plan: Small rectangular plan rebuilt at the rear end in the Cl9. Exterior: 2 storeys. North west gable-ended from has C17 central chamfered doorway with diagonal stops. First floor loading doorway on the right is similar. Old ledged doors. Left-hand wall has small ground floor openings one of which is chamfered and a central C17 chamfered first floor window opening. Interior not inspected.
