Description
This chest tomb, dating from the 18th century, is located 5 metres south of the west end of the Church of Saint Just in St Just in Roseland. The tomb features indecipherable dates on its lid and sides, along with inscriptions dedicated to John Jennings Oxenbury, William Gly, Gent, and James Chimoe. It is made of limestone and has a rectangular shape. The design includes a plinth, engaged corner shafts, and a lid that is moulded with cavetto and torus details.
