Description

This is a shippon, or cattle shed, dating from the 18th century, located about 20 metres west of Manor Farmhouse in St Gennys, Lower Crackington. The building is constructed of cob and features a slate roof with gable ends. A notable aspect is the canopy at the front, supported by large timber brackets, which faces the farmyard. There is a loft door located at the lower gable end. The description is approximate due to limited access to the building.
