Description
The gate-piers and bridge, located 500 meters southeast of Worthyvale Manor, date from the early 17th century. The structure features a pair of granite ashlar gate-piers at the entrance to the manor's drive. These gate-piers are square in plan and have a moulded cornice, a curved neck, and are topped with ball finials. To the north of the gate-piers, the drive crosses a narrow bridge, which is also possibly from the 17th century. This bridge is constructed of stone rubble and has a granite ashlar segmental arch. The low parapets, made of slate stone rubble, have been partly rebuilt and feature granite coping.
