Description
The gate piers and garden wall located to the south of No. 3 Manor Farm in Camelford date back to around the 17th century, with some extensions made in the 20th century. The gate piers are made of granite and are square in shape, featuring moulded bases and cornices, topped with ball-finials. The original 17th-century garden wall, which runs to the front right and left of No. 3 Manor Farm, is constructed from stone rubble and includes dressed granite quoins and granite coping that slopes towards the front. In the 20th century, the wall was extended with a lower stone rubble section added to the front. It is possible that the gate piers were repositioned when the garden was expanded.
