Description

The building is a smithy and attached outbuildings located 10 metres east of Oldhay Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from stone rubble with granite dressings and features rag slate roofs. The smithy is on the left with gable ends, while the central outbuilding has a hipped end on the right, and the right-hand outbuilding is unroofed.

The layout consists of a row of three buildings, each with a one-room plan. The smithy on the left includes a fireplace at the left end and an entrance on the right. The central outbuilding has a wide opening near the centre and a ventilation slit to the right. The roofless building on the right has an entrance on the left and dressed granite reset around the window on the right. The interior has not been inspected.
