Description
The dovecote, located 120 metres north of Boconnoc House, dates from the early 18th century and is now used as a store. It features circular walls made of snecked stone and a conical slate roof. At the top, there is a low lantern with a conical slate roof, which covers blocked flight holes in the pulver, and it is topped with a wooden finial. The structure has two storeys, with the ground floor possibly serving a different purpose than the dovecote above. On the ground floor, there are two unglazed timber mullion windows with two lights each on the east and west sides, along with a door beneath a timber lintel on the south-east side. Access to the upper storey is via six steps on the north side, leading to a pointed panelled timber door. Above this door, on the first floor, there is a two-light timber casement window with four panes per light. The interior has not been inspected.
