Description

This bridge, located about 100 metres north of Bury Court, likely has medieval origins but appears to have been largely rebuilt in the 19th century. It is constructed of slatestone rubble and features a narrow, stilted arch that is slightly skewed and lacks parapets. The bridge spans a stream that feeds the moat surrounding the recently excavated remains of the Cardinham family manor, known as Bury Court due to its proximity to the house. The road that crosses the stream at this bridge is disused and is said to be of medieval origin.
