Description
No. 8, Hicks Court, dates to 1587 and is a building of group value. It is constructed of painted rubble with slate hanging above ground level and a slurried slate roof. The north-west front features two windows with sash glazing bars and margin lights to the ground floor window. A modern door is also present. The south-east front has slate hanging and rubble elevations facing Hicks Court, with modern casement windows and a half-glazed door. A doorway on the far left of the ground floor of this front provides storage access for No. 6 Hicks Court and is included as part of the listing for No. 8; No. 6 is not otherwise listed. No. 8 Hicks Court forms a group with Nos. 25-27 Digey Street.
