Description

The Old Archway is a free-standing remnant of a doorway from the 16th or 17th century. It features one single stone upright that is lightly chamfered, along with a cambered lintel that has a chamfered under edge. The other upright is integrated into a wall. This archway marks the entrance to Hick's Court, which was the location of George Hicks' house in the early 17th century.
