Description

These garden walls, located about 100 metres east of Pennans Farmhouse, date from the early to mid-18th century. They are constructed of red brick laid in Flemish bond and stand approximately 4 metres high. The walls enclose a large rectangular area and include one cross wall that runs roughly east to west. They likely once surrounded an orchard and kitchen garden associated with Pennans Farmhouse. The walls are not complete.
