Description

Warnatah House is an 18th-century house in a row, located on The Praze in Penryn. The ground floor is built of painted rubble, while the upper floor is of incised stucco on a timber frame. The roof is steeply pitched, covered in scantle slates, and has a brick end stack on the left and an axial stack towards the right. The house has a single-depth plan, encompassing two main rooms and a service room to the right. It is two storeys high with a three-window front. The upper floor has 18th-century twenty-pane hornless sash windows. The ground floor has three late 19th-century four-pane hornless sash windows, and a pilastered doorway with a triangular pediment, a six-panel door, and an overlight, towards the left. This creates an almost symmetrical three-window front, alongside a bay on the right with a single ground floor window. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
