Description
The gate piers, gate, and stile located approximately 17 metres south of the Church of Saint Hilary date from the early 19th century. They feature granite ashlar piers topped with pyramidal caps, dressed granite stile stones, and dressed coursed killas side walls with granite quoins and copings. The wrought-iron gate has an arched top rail, roundels on the lock rail, and diamond shapes on the bottom rail. The design includes a deep rectangular grid stile with square piers at the entrance and high walls on either side.
