Description

The gun battery west of St Michael's Mount is a 17th-century structure built from granite ashlar and granite rubble. It features embattled parapets and has a rectangular platform with walls on three sides. The south wall has three chamfered embrasures, while the north wall has four similar embrasures. The battery is equipped with seven cannons, each positioned on a granite flagged floor with cobbles placed between them.
