Gun battery. C17. Granite ashlar and granite rubble walls with embattled parapets. Plan: platform with 2 outer retaining walls forming an obtuse angle on plan, 5 splayed embrasures to the west wall and 6 similar embrasures to the north wall. Fitted with 11 cannons, each cannon standing on granite flagged floor with cobbles between each standing.
