Description
This guide post, located 830 metres north of Condolden, dates back to 1825 and is made of granite. It has a quadrangular shape with tapered sides and features inscriptions on three sides in upper case lettering. The inscriptions indicate directions to Tintagel, Camelford, and Launceston, noting the old local spelling of Launceston, which is pronounced "Lan-son." The guide post is situated on the Turnpike road that runs between Trebarwith Strand and Condolden Bridge.
