Description
The gate piers and flanking walls located southwest of the Church of Saint Anthony are possibly from the 17th century. They are constructed from shale and serpentine rubble, with some dressed granite used for the quoins and flat serpentine slate copings. The walls return at the gateway to create an open lych gate, which includes stone side benches. Although the former grid stile has been filled in, there is a corbel stile set into the wall to the right of the gateway. A 20th-century wrought iron gate is also present.
