Description
This is a bank barn built around the 1860s, located 70 meters north of Pentillie Park Farmhouse. It is constructed from rubblestone and features a slate roof with gable ends. The barn has two storeys and a symmetrical southeast front. The ground floor includes two small rectangular window openings beneath a large granite lintel, with a string course above. On the upper level, there are two small rectangular openings fitted with slatted timber louvers. The right-hand gable end has a long ventilation slit on the ground floor and a large loft doorway opening on the first floor, also with a granite lintel. Rubblestone steps lead to the loft at the rear. This barn is included for its group value with Pentillie Park Farmhouse.
