Description

Chapel House is an 18th-century building located on the north-east side of Chapel Street, Penzance. It is set at a right angle to the road and is constructed of roughcast over granite ashlar, with stucco quoins and a string course. A modillion eaves cornice runs along the top. The roof is slate, with gable ends. The building is two storeys high and has five windows, with a three-window projection topped by a pediment containing a semi-circular attic window. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A modern glazed porch has been added to the centre. Chapel House is part of a group of listed buildings on the North East Side of Chapel Street.
