Description

This building is a store located at Penzance Shipyard, immediately south of the dry dock, and dates from around the mid-19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with dressed granite quoins, and the lower part is painted. The store has a flat roof and is rectangular in shape, featuring a vaulted cellar on the ground floor. There is a small doorway on the northwest side that provides access to the cellar. Inside, the cellar has a painted brick groin vault, which consists of two bays by four bays. This store is part of a notably complete group of harbour buildings at Penzance.
