Description

Nos. 33 and 34 Chapel Street are a pair of 18th-century buildings. They are constructed of granite ashlar with pebble-dash plastering on the upper floor. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic. They have two windows each, with sash windows lacking glazing bars. The left-hand building features a canted oriel bay window on the first floor. There are plain, recessed doorways. The roof is covered in slates with table ends, and includes two dormers; one is modern, and the other is hipped. The buildings are included on the list for their contribution to the group value of the buildings on the north-east side of Chapel Street.
