Description
The Ridder monument is a headstone located in the churchyard about 4 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of St Dennis. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of granite and slate. The granite headstone features a cornice and central swept necking leading to flat ball finials, with a similar ball finial on each side. There is an inset slate inscription plate with a nowy head and a carved low relief cherub at the top, displaying good lettering. The monument commemorates William Ridder, who passed away in 1827.
