Description

The North Quay Walls form part of the harbour in Padstow, built around 1534 and partly rebuilt in 1854. They are constructed from slate stone rubble, laid in horizontal and vertical courses to create the quay on the north side of the harbour. The walls form part of an extensive system of harbour defences including the southern harbour wall, the wall to the east of the Strand, the wall to the north of the south quay, slips, and a pier to the north east of the south quay.
