Description
This is a disused house located southeast of the W.A. Froud butcher's premises. It is likely from the early to mid 19th century and constructed of stone rubble with a slate roof featuring gable ends and brick end stacks. The house has a two-room layout with a cross or through passage that extends across the rear, along with service outshuts added in the 19th and 20th centuries. The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical two-window front, with brick segmental arches above the openings. The central entrance is a plank door, flanked by two probably 20th-century two-light casements, with two similar casements on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
