Description

These garden walls, located about 20 metres east of No 24 (Grove House), date from the early to mid 19th century. They are constructed of granite rubble with granite and brick dressings. The walls stand approximately one metre high and feature moulded granite coping. They extend about 5 metres along the front and about 12 metres along the sides, remaining open to the garden at the rear. The walls ramp up to the front left, where there is a 19th-century wrought iron gate on the left side. On the inner side to the right, there are six shallow segmental arched recesses with brick dressings.
