Description

Nos 16 to 20 on Duck Street are a group of houses dating from the late 18th century. These two-storey buildings are constructed of whitened rubble, with some sections supported by iron or granite posts. They feature later sash windows set in moulded casings without glazing bars. Access to the houses is provided by three flights of stone steps, which have simple iron railings. The roofs are covered with slate. This group of houses is included in the listing for their collective architectural significance.
