Description

Nos 96 to 98 on Holywell Street are a pair of houses dating from the 18th century. This three-storey building features roughcast timber framing set on a stuccoed base, and it includes cellars. The structure has a moulded wood eaves cornice and a modern double hipped roof covered with brown tiles, along with brick chimney stacks. The ground floor showcases three-light sash windows with shutters, topped by a continuous moulded band. The first and second floors also have sash windows, which are framed in moulded wood and include glazing bars. All the listed buildings on the south side of Holywell Street are part of a group.
