Description

1-4 Alverton Terrace are 18th to 19th century stuccoed cottages located on the north side of Alverton Road in Penzance. The buildings feature a slate roof with gable ends and rise to two storeys. They have five windows, with the first floor showcasing 2-light casements, while the ground floor includes small sash windows and two small early to mid-19th century shop fronts that have narrow fascias and flat cornices. These cottages are included for their group value, as they form a cohesive architectural group with Nos 2 to 6 Alverton Terrace.
