Tombchest and headstone. 1745 and 1786. Tombchest in memory of John Lawers who died in 1745 and son John (1754). Stone rubble chest with rectangular slate lid. Inscribed in serifs, italics and script. Marginal inscription. Central panel decorated with incised angel blowing trumpet and verse below. Signed Christopher Clist. 4 metres to west, headstone of Jane, wife of John Stephens, 1786. Slate rectangular headstone inscribed in upper and lower case lettering with serifs. Verse.
