Description

The headstone of Elizabeth and Catherine Burton, dating from 1781, is located 4 meters to the west of the south porch of the Church of St. Menefreda. This slate headstone commemorates Elizabeth, the daughter of Bartholomew and Jane Burton, who died in 1781, and Catherine, the daughter of the same parents, who died in 1806. The headstone is rectangular with curved corners and features inscriptions in upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
