Description

The former windmill in the grounds of Fowey Hall is a squat tower mill designed in a Greek pattern, featuring almost vertical walls made of stone blocks. This site is likely the oldest windmill location in Cornwall, with historical records indicating a windmill existed here as early as 1290. The current structure was transformed into a folly in the 19th century.
