Description
Tregirls Cottages is a farmhouse that has been divided into two cottages, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate-hung front elevation with rag slates. The building has a slate roof with gable ends and brick stacks at the ends. The layout consists of a two-room and cross passage plan, with a one-room service wing at the rear left, all heated by end stacks. There is a 19th-century outshot extension at the rear right, which accommodates a staircase behind the passage. In the 20th century, the house was divided into two cottages, and an extension was added at the rear. The exterior is two storeys high with a symmetrical three-window front, showcasing early 19th-century 20-pane hornless sash windows. The central door, likely from the 18th century, has a glazed panel inserted. A stone rubble gabled porch is flanked by two sashes, with three sashes above. The interior has not been inspected.
