Description
Pomery Farmhouse is a mid-19th century farmhouse built of shale rubble, featuring a hipped roof covered with scantle slate and brick chimneys—one axial and two on the side walls. The building has an L-shaped plan with three rooms and linked late 19th century gable service wings at the rear. It stands two storeys tall and has four windows, which are more closely spaced on the left side. The ground floor includes a window, a door with a window above it, and another window. The four-panel door has flush beaded bottom panels and fielded top panels, topped with a rectangular fanlight. The windows are 12-pane sashes without horns. There is a single storey extension to the right that has a door, a window, and a brick gable chimney. The interior of the farmhouse is largely unaltered.
