Description
This is a headstone dating from 1768, located 8 metres south of the west tower of Egloshayle Church. It commemorates Alexander Anderson, who died in that year. The headstone is made of slate and features a segmental arched top. The inscription is presented in upper and lower case lettering with serifs, and includes a depiction of a skull and crossed bones above the text.
