LESNEWTH LESNEWTH SX 19 SW 2/99 Tombchest of William Betenson 8a to north of north east corner of tower of Church north of north-east GV II Tombchest. 1771. In memory of William Betenson of Grylls (qv Tregrylls) who died in 1771, his son William Gilbert Betenson who died in 1759 and daughter Ann Betenson who died in 1767. Slate stone rubble rectangular chest with slate lid. Inscribed in upper and lower case lettering with serifs; verse and heraldic arms.
