Description

This is a group of three reset ledgerstones located in a bank one metre north of the north transept of the Church of St Julitta. The ledgerstones date from 1746 to 1796. One ledgerstone commemorates Isaac Broad, who died in 1796, and his wife, who died in 1781. It is a rectangular slate stone inscribed with upper and lower case lettering featuring serifs and decorated with an angel's head, along with a verse.

The second ledgerstone, dating from the early 18th century, is also rectangular and made of slate, with a marginal inscription that is now illegible. It commemorates Mary Prestridge, who died in 1746, Edward Prestridge, who died in 1752, and their son Edward, who died in 1753. This stone features an inner panel with a nowy-shaped head and is decorated with two hearts, along with high-quality upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
