Description

This building is an outbuilding located 3 metres to the south-west of Treleague Farmhouse. It was originally used as a shippon, stable, and cartshed, and it likely dates from the 18th century. The structure is made of rubble stone with cob upper walls and features a hipped cement-washed scantle slate roof. It is a single storey with a long, low, asymmetrical front.

On the left side, there is a shippon with a boarded opening and an 8-pane window. Next to it is a stable door that adjoins a double timber door beneath a cambered timber lintel. The cartshed opening is divided by a cylindrical granite column that transitions to a square cap and base. There are also boarded wide openings on the right side of the building. This outbuilding is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
