Description
Seaview Cottage is an early 19th-century building located in Portmellon. It is constructed of stuccoed rubble and stands three stories high. The front elevation features a single sash window with glazing bars. The roof is hipped and covered with cement-washed slates. The cottage is situated on a cliff top, with its rear side facing the road. It is included in the listing specifically for its group value, being one of several properties—including Mermaid Cottage, The Corner, Porthgrwara, Windyknowe, Chyreen, Rock Cottage and the Rising Sun Inn—that collectively contribute to the character of the area.
