Description
Chyreen, located at Windyknowe in Portmellon, is a late 18th-century building constructed of stuccoed rubble. It features three storeys and an attic, with two sash windows that have glazing bars. The building also has two modern dormers and a cement-washed slate roof. Positioned on a cliff top, it faces the road at the back. Chyreen is included in the listing for its group value, as it is part of a collection of nearby structures that includes Mermaid Cottage, The Corner, Porthgrwara, Seaview Cottage, Rock Cottage, and the Rising Sun Inn.
