Description

No. 27 Polkirt Hill is an early 18th-century house constructed of coursed rubble. It stands three storeys tall and features five windows, which are sashes with thick glazing bars, flat arches, and keystones. The doorway is adorned with Doric half-columns, an entablature, and a pediment, along with a fielded panel and a glazed door. The house has a modillion eaves cornice and a slate hipped roof. The side of the house is slate hung and also three storeys high, with three windows that are sashes with glazing bars. Nos. 27 to 35 (odd) form a group.
