Description
House. Built in the early 19th century, with a few later alterations. The house is constructed of slatestone rubble with granite quoins and dressings. It has a slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends, and a gable end stack to the left, featuring a brick shaft.
The plan comprises a two-room layout, with a central entrance and a heated room to the left, containing a gable end stack, and a smaller, unheated room to the right.
The exterior presents a symmetrical three-window facade. All windows are 19th-century 2-light casements with margin glazing, and have granite lintels on the ground floor. A 2-light casement window on the ground floor to the right was added in the early 20th century. A central plank door is sheltered by a corrugated iron gabled porch. The house is built into the churchyard at the rear.
The interior was not inspected. The building is included on the register for group value.
